Finally got my hands on an out-of-print copy and the two-on-two setup works way better than I expected. The villains juggling doomsday devices while the spies sneak around creates some genuinely tense back-and-forth.

The asymmetric villain vs spy mechanic makes every round feel completely different, especially when the spies barely squeak by on their hidden movement. Played it three nights in a row and the doomsday device tension never got old. Wish it were easier to find in print, honestly.

The two-versus-two setup is what sold me, and the asymmetric roles really deliver—playing the villains plotting doomsday devices feels completely different from hunting them as spies. We've played six times already and each round the hidden movement keeps everyone leaning over the board.
