Quick answer
Burgle Bros Blackjack is a cooperative card game that reimagines blackjack as a heist. You and your crew trade cards, build decks, and crack safes while dodging guards.
What makes this different from regular blackjack?
In standard blackjack you play against the dealer. Here, everyone works together. You trade cards among your crew to reach target sums, trigger safe-cracking combos, and avoid alerting the guards. The goal isn't 21—it's outsmarting the casino together.
Is it a standalone game or an expansion?
Burgle Bros Blackjack is a standalone card game in the Burgle Bros universe. You don't need any other Burgle Bros product to play. That said, if you already own Burgle Bros or Burgle Bros 2, the theme and art style will feel familiar.
Frequently asked questions
- How many players do I need?
- The game supports 2 to 4 players. It works best with 3 or 4 because card trading becomes more strategic.
- How long does a game last?
- A typical game runs 20 to 30 minutes. That includes setup and a few rounds of heisting.
- Do I need to know blackjack to play?
- No. The game uses the idea of reaching target card sums, but the rules are explained in the box. If you've played any cooperative card game, you'll pick it up fast.
- What language is the rulebook in?
- This edition comes in both English and German. All cards and rules are bilingual.
- Can I combine it with other Burgle Bros games?
- Burgle Bros Blackjack is a standalone product. There are no official rules to mix it with Burgle Bros or Burgle Bros 2, but you can enjoy the same heist theme across your collection.
- Is it good for new board game players?
- Yes. The cooperative nature means everyone learns together, and the 20-minute playtime keeps it light. It's a good entry point into the Burgle Bros series.
