The oxygen and power management is genuinely tense — we squeaked out a win with one turn left before the station went dark. The cooperative setup means nobody sits around waiting, everyone's got a job each round.

Intrepid

The cooperative mechanics really shine once you're juggling oxygen and power levels at the same time. Losing a turn because a teammate miscalculated our resources genuinely stung, which is exactly what I want from a survival game. The ISS theme isn't just a coat of paint either, it's baked into every decision.

Intrepid - Wholesale

Played this expansion twice with my usual group and the orbital emergency events genuinely change how you plan your turns — we lost a crew member to a debris strike in round four. Only gripe is that it needs the base game plus a fair bit of table space, so it's not a quick filler. Still, $25 for this much added replay value seems fair.

Intrepid: Mission Critical (Expansion) - Wholesale

The crisis cards finally make the base game tense instead of just puzzly, and losing an oxygen module mid-orbit actually hurts now. We've played four rounds and nobody has stopped asking for it.

Intrepid: Mission Critical (Expansion)

The two-sided cards fit right in with my second edition set and the PVC feels identical to the base game pieces. Only gripe is that eight cards is a pretty small batch, so the chase starts repeating after a handful of plays. Still, they add a nice twist while they last.
